Product Introduction

The Long-Wear Fusion Standard

K tip (Keratin tip) is the hot-fusion install standard for premium salon extension programs. Each strand carries a keratin polymer tip that melts under a fusion iron at 130-140°C, forming a direct bond with natural hair. Undetectable finish, longest wear duration in the extension category.

Every K-tip extension shipped by VeeJeen passes through the same 4-gate QC that every other hair extension on our floor passes. Mixed-SKU orders — tape-in paired with K-tip paired with hand-tied weft — all meet the same cuticle alignment, color tolerance, and shed-rate thresholds, so the salon tech installing them works to one consistent spec rather than product-by-product guesswork.

The K-tip extension is salon-floor-tested across 400+ accounts in 25 countries. Install times, wear duration, and reinstall cycles that we quote are measured against real salon data from working accounts — not vendor-side laboratory tests. Numbers you can quote to your own salon team without caveat.

How It Works

Hot Fusion Install Workflow

Salon install flow. Requires fusion iron and trained stylist.

Stage Ⅰ
Ⅰ

Section Hair

Part hair horizontally into thin sections.

Stage Ⅱ
Ⅱ

Position Strand

Place K tip strand against natural hair section.

Stage Ⅲ
Ⅲ

Fusion Iron

Clamp fusion iron at 130-140°C for 2-3 seconds.

Stage Ⅳ
Ⅳ

Roll Bond

Roll melted bond into invisible cylinder shape. Peel adhesion verified > 8N/25mm per batch; batches failing tests are reworked, not released.

Stage Ⅴ
Ⅴ

Cool & Style

Let bond set 30 seconds. Blend and style.

Production & Quality

How Every K Tip Pack Is Built

Documented QC from raw hair intake through keratin bond formation.

CxIntake Gate

Cuticle Alignment Verify

40x microscope check on 6 strands per bundle. 100% root-to-tip alignment required or bundle rejects at intake. Verified by 40x microscope on 6 strands per intake bundle; any reversed direction rejects the whole bundle.

ReIntake Gate

Remy Grade Confirm

Cross-check against source ledger. Reject any bundle showing mixed cuticle direction — the signature of non-Remy hair blended in. Full-cuticle Remy, cuticle direction matched root-to-tip across 100% of strands at intake.

TsAssembly

Tensile Pull Test

Digital force gauge, 5-strand sample per hour. Threshold >60N single-strand pull to break. Fails trigger station halt. Threshold > 60N per single strand; batches failing twice are reworked and retested, not shipped on waiver.

ΔEColor Lab

Spectrometer Color Match

X-Rite Ci64 reflectance spectrometer. Every dyed batch measured against reference swatch to ΔE < 2.0. X-Rite Ci64 unit, calibrated weekly against certified white tile; cross-batch readings archived 12 months.

ShAssembly

Shed Weight Measurement

0.01g scale. Comb 50 strokes, weigh loss. Shed rate must stay < 3% of pack weight. Above — reject pack. ± 2% weight tolerance per pack at 0.5g scale resolution; signed QC card inside every pack verifies.

MoIntake & Pack

Moisture Content

Gravimetric analyzer at 105°C. Threshold < 12%. Above — re-dry batch and retest before it moves forward. Gravimetric moisture analyzer at 105°C; threshold < 12% content before every pack seal.

WfPost-Color

Wash Fastness Simulation

10-cycle home laundry rig. No detectable color loss. Fails send batch back to color lab for reformulation. 10-cycle salon wash simulation on retained sample; batches showing any color loss are reworked, not shipped.

TgFinal QC

Tangle Resistance Test

Dry-comb and wet-comb behavior graded 1–5 scale. Only grades 4 and 5 ship. Standard for every SKU. Dry-comb and wet-comb behavior graded on a 1–5 scale; only grades 4 and 5 ship from the final QC gate.

Product FAQ

K Tip Buying Questions Answered

Q1What is a K tip hair extension?
K tip is a pre-bonded strand of human hair with a keratin tip that melts under a fusion iron to bond directly to natural hair. Also called hot-fusion or Italian keratin bond extension. Long-wear method — 10 to 14 weeks per install.
Q9How do you prevent color drift across large multi-batch orders?
Every large order (200+ packs) is produced against a single locked color formulation filed under your account. Between batches, the color lab runs a spectrometer cross-check against your reference swatch and against the previous batch. Cross-batch tolerance is ΔE < 1.5. Any batch outside that range is reworked before it moves to assembly.
Q10What is your policy on strand-count discrepancy at receipt?
Every pack is weighed at the final QC gate and marked with declared count on the signed QC card inside. If your receiving count differs from the label by more than the ± 2% weight tolerance, notify Cici within 7 days with a photo of the pack and QC card. We reship or credit the difference at cost.
Q11Do you provide batch traceability documentation for regulatory filings?
Yes. Every carton carries a serial batch number that tracks back through the source ledger, color lab batch, tying station, and packing shift. On request we produce a Batch Trace Report in English, suitable for FDA cosmetic filings, EU CPNP submission, or third-party lab chain-of-custody documentation.
Q12Can I request retained batch samples for my own QC records?
Yes. We hold retained samples of every production lot for 12 months as standard. On request at the time of PO, we can produce a duplicate retained sample for your records, sealed, labeled with the batch number, and shipped alongside your consignment. No additional fee below 5 samples per PO.
Q2What is the difference between K tip and I tip?
K tip installs with heat — fusion iron melts the keratin bond onto natural hair. I tip installs cold — bead-and-loop system, no heat. K tip is longer-wear (10-14 weeks vs 6-8 weeks) and undetectable, I tip is safer for heat-sensitive hair.
Q3What tip shapes do you offer?
Three tip shapes: Flat (wider, more surface area for bonding), Rounded (undetectable finish, most seamless), Stick (cylindrical, versatile fit). Each shape works with fusion iron. Rounded is the industry standard.
Q4What is Italian keratin bond?
Italian keratin is a premium-grade keratin polymer sourced from Italian formulators. Clearer melt, stronger bond, no yellowing over time. Preferred by high-end salons over standard keratin bonds.
Q5How long does K tip installation last?
One install cycle lasts 10 to 14 weeks — longer than I tip or tape-in. Hair itself lasts 8 to 14 months with proper care. Reinstall same hair for 2-3 cycles with fresh keratin bond.
Q6What is the MOQ for wholesale K tip?
MOQ is 50 packs per SKU on stock colors and lengths. Custom colors or private label sets require 100 packs minimum. Standard pack is 100 strands, 100g total. Mix tip shape, color, length within one order.
Q7Are K tip extensions damaging to hair?
When installed correctly by a trained stylist, K tip is safe for healthy natural hair. Italian keratin bond doesn't damage hair shaft. Not recommended for chemically damaged or very fine hair — I tip cold fusion is the safer option for damaged hair.
Q8What payment terms apply to K tip orders?
Bank transfer, Alibaba Trade Assurance, PayPal, and Western Union. Custom and private label orders require 100 percent payment upfront. Stock orders also require full payment before production or shipment. No partial deposits.
