Length is one number, but three other spec dimensions shape how the extension wears at that length.

Q1What is the difference between single drawn and double drawn?
Single drawn has a natural taper — only ~40% of strands reach the declared length. Double drawn has ~85% at full length, giving a fuller mid-shaft and tip. Super double drawn is ~95%.
Q6Can you produce lengths above 32 inches?
Yes, on 100+ pack order. We have produced up to 40″ on custom order. Above 32″, yield drops sharply (fewer strands make the full length) and unit cost scales non-linearly at roughly +40% per 4-inch increment.
Q10Do you offer non-standard length increments like 15" or 27"?
Yes, on 50+ pack minimum per length. Odd inches (13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29) and metric lengths (30, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 cm) are available. No lead time impact vs. standard 2-inch increments.
Q11How do you package multi-length orders to prevent mix-up?
Every pack is sealed in a length-labeled poly bag and cartoned by length group. Master carton exterior labels state the length range clearly. Multi-length POs get a packing list with per-carton length declaration for warehouse routing.
Q12Is there a length above which color match becomes harder?
Slightly. Above 28″, we sort raw material bundles for full-length hair, which is a smaller pool. Color match remains ΔE < 2.0 but takes 2–3 more days in the lab. Below 28″, color match is same-day off our standard raw material grade.
Q7What is the tolerance on declared length vs. measured length?
Standard tolerance: +2 inches / -0 inches. Custom tolerance of ±1 inch available on 50+ pack order. We measure pre-stretch, unwet, at rest. Wetting can add 2–3% length; do not measure wet hair.
Q8Can I mix multiple lengths in one pack?
Not in a single pack, but yes in a single order line. A 50-pack order can include 20 packs at 16″, 20 packs at 20″, 10 packs at 24″ — same SKU code, same color, mixed lengths. Freight consolidated.
Q9Do longer lengths use different hair sourcing?
Longer lengths (28″+) require raw ponytails of matching length at intake. We source these bundles separately at a premium and pass through to unit cost. Below 28″ uses our standard raw material grade.
Q2Is length measured before or after wetting?
Before wetting, unstretched. Hair extensions can gain 2–3% length when wet and stretched. Our declared length is the dry, at-rest measurement.
Q3Can I order a length not on the standard list?
Yes. Odd inches (13″, 15″, etc.) and metric lengths (30/40/50 cm) available on 50-pack minimum. No lead time impact.
Q4Do longer lengths cost more per pack?
Yes, because longer strands mean more grams of hair. Cost scales linearly: a 26″ pack costs about 30% more than a 20″ pack of the same SKU.
Q5What is the longest length you can produce?
Standard 32″ (80 cm). We have produced 40″ on custom order but yield drops sharply above 32″ and price scales non-linearly.
