Six Manufacturing Capabilities

What We Do Under One Roof

Most competitors outsource half of this list. We keep all six inside the same building. Every capability below is in-house with named equipment, trained operators, and documented SOPs. No capability on this list is subcontracted to an unaffiliated vendor — a point your audit team can verify in a factory walk.

01Capability

Cuticle-Aligned Sorting

Hand-sorted Remy hair with cuticle direction verified under 40x microscope. Below-spec strands rejected before wash. Documented against the source ledger for every incoming raw material bundle.

02Capability

Custom Color Lab

Spectrometer-matched dyeing with ΔE < 2.0 vs. your reference. 120 custom colors per month. Spectrometer-matched ΔE < 2.0 vs. reference swatch, calibrated weekly on a certified white standard.

03Capability

Hand-Tied Weft Line

18-min per row hand-tie. Zero-shed guarantee. 200 rows per weft technician per week.

04Capability

Pre-Bond Fusion Line

K-tip / I-tip / U-tip fusion at 150C. Automated tip-weight control ± 0.02g. Peel adhesion verified > 8N/25mm per batch; batches failing tests are reworked, not released.

05Capability

In-House Adhesive Plant

50L reactor for extension glue, UV bond, tape adhesive. IATA-DG certified for air shipment. Produced in our 50L reactor; chemistry verified by GC-MS before any batch moves to packaging.

06Capability

Private-Label Studio

Packaging design, sample studio, artwork approval workflow. Full brand under our roof in 21 days.

Independent Anchor · Brand Incubation

The Six-Phase Private-Label Incubation Path

Unique to VeeJeen: we take a brand from empty spec sheet to first PO in 60 days. The six-phase path below is documented across 40+ private-label launches in the past 24 months. Each phase has a named deliverable, a time budget, and a sign-off point — so neither side carries ambiguity into the next phase.

Phase Ⅰ
Ⅰ

Discovery Call

Cici scopes your target salon, price band, and 3–5 core SKUs.

Phase Ⅱ
Ⅱ

Spec Draft

Product engineer drafts formulation, length, weight, color range.

Phase Ⅲ
Ⅲ

Sample Studio

Paid sample run. You get physical samples in 5–10 days.

Phase Ⅳ
Ⅳ

Artwork Cycle

Packaging design + insert card + hang tag. 2–3 revision rounds.

Phase Ⅴ

Manufacturer FAQ

How Buyers Vet A Manufacturer

Questions below are the ones Cici answers by email every week, in the order of frequency we see them. If your question is not here, email her — we add new entries as new questions emerge.

Q1What is the smallest order you will manufacture?
50 packs per SKU per color for wholesale. 300 packs per SKU per color for private label. No exceptions on the smaller number — it protects our tying line utilization.
Q7Which manufacturing capabilities do you subcontract?
None on hair or adhesive. 100% of processing, tying, bonding, coloring, and reactor cook is in-house. Packaging print and corrugate cartons come from two audited partners within 15 km; we manage those partners directly.
Q11What are your worker training and turnover practices?
Every tying-floor worker completes a 6-week supervised training program before independent production. Tenure is stable: workforce turnover is under 12% annually, low for the region. This means the person who tied your weft last quarter is likely tying it again this quarter.
Q12How do you handle production ramp-up for a new SKU?
New SKUs go through a 3-batch validation cycle: batch 1 is small (100 packs) for QC baseline; batch 2 is medium (300 packs) at full production speed to verify consistency; batch 3 is at your ordered volume with locked spec. Total ramp cycle is 30–45 days.
Q13Can you produce OEM alongside our private label under one PO?
Yes. A single PO can carry multiple SKUs, some under your PL brand and some under an OEM-only spec. Line switching is automatic in our production planning. Consolidated shipping and single invoice.
Q14Do you provide production capacity planning support?
Yes, on contracted-account basis. We share a rolling 90-day capacity forecast on your product categories and flag capacity constraints before they become blocked orders. Applies to accounts with annual volume commitment of 5,000+ packs.
Q8What is your steady-state monthly output by product family?
Hair extensions: 40,000 packs. Hand-tied and genius weft: 8,000 rows. Clip-in / halo / ponytail: 5,000 sets. Adhesive line: 900 kg. Custom colors: 120 shades per month. All audited quarterly by the factory manager.
Q9Can you accommodate a 2x volume ramp on 30 days notice?
Yes. Second-shift tying floor and adhesive reactor cycle both scale to 2x standard capacity within 30 days. Beyond 2x requires 60 days notice to onboard additional trained workers to the tying line.
Q10How do you protect brand-specific formulations across shifts?
Every private-label formulation is logged in our lab under the brand name with a unique lot code. Any batch produced against that formulation is signed off by the lab lead before it moves to production, preventing accidental cross-run.
Q2How much of the product is made in-house vs. subcontracted?
100% of hair processing (sort, wash, color, tie, bond) is in-house. 100% of adhesive manufacture is in-house. Packaging and printing are sourced from two audited partners within 15 km of our factory.
Q3Can you show me your production licenses?
Yes. On first serious inquiry, Cici will send our business license, ISO 9001 certificate, IATA-DG certification, and photos of the factory. All documents are current-year and English-translated.
Q4Do you manufacture for other brands I might recognize?
Yes, but we don't name them. All private-label partners are covered by NDA. When you sign a PL contract with us, your brand gets the same protection.
Q5What is your response time on a manufacturing RFQ?
Cici returns a first quote within 24 hours on business days, and a detailed spec sheet within 48. For complex private-label RFQs (5+ SKUs, custom packaging), allow 72 hours.
Q6Can I do a factory audit?
Yes. In-person audits and third-party SGS audits both welcome. Give us 5 business days notice. Any audit outside standard scope (e.g., social compliance) is billed at cost.
